A typical session is 50 minutes in length.
Sessions with younger children typically begin with the parent(s) and the child. After some initial time together reviewing, educating, and setting out the current goals, the parents will be asked to wait in the waiting area while the child and I work together. Sessions then finish with calling the parents back in to discuss our progress and goals for the next session.
Sessions with teens typically occur 1:1 with the teen. Teens may be asked to give consent for parent participation or parent updates, as deemed therapeutically helpful.
I am available to provide parent training sessions to parents who are seeking strategies to help manage their children’s anxiety.
Session Fees
Individual: $245
- Fees are based on a 50 minute session
- Fees are due at the end of each session and are payable by cash or e-transfer
- $40 office fee charged for cancelled appointments with less than 24hrs notice
